Public London Charter – our response

In January we responded to the Mayor’s draft Public London Charter.

We welcomed the Charter as a first step while calling for higher standards of access to open space in the capital.

We also coordinated a joint statement supported by six groups including the Open Spaces Society, the London Forum of Amenity Societies, the London Friends of Greenspaces Network, London Living Streets and the Ramblers.  The statement was informed and supported by legal expert Professor Antonia Layard.
