The biggest Big Give ever

The 2024 Big Give Christmas Challenge has raised more than ever before to help grow and strengthen the friends of green space movement

Thanks to your support, this year’s appeal has almost £20,000, including gift aid and match funding. This will be used to power up a small army of volunteers, around 900 friends groups across London, working hard to improve and promote green spaces – and you can still donate.

Your donations will help CPRE London equip this vital network of groups with training, advice and networking, and providing materials to plant and restore around 2,000 metres of hedgerow. We will also step up efforts to encourage the formation of new friends groups for the many green spaces that don’t currently have active community involvement. This support can be transformational in making green spaces better for people, wildlife and the planet.
