How many stars can you see at night in London?

Many Londoners are deprived of the beauty of star filled night skies. But this needn’t be the case. Dark starry skies are a beautiful sight, and a distinctive feature of the countryside. We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy the beauty of a dark and starlit sky wherever they live – including London! But we fear the capital’s sky is so affected by light pollution that the opportunity to experience truly dark skies is denied to many. And light pollution also has a huge impact on wildlife.
