Meet the Tree Ring Team

Learn about the people and organisations behind the London Tree Ring

CPRE London Tree Ring Team 

We are a small team, mostly volunteers, headed by Tree Ring Director Phil Paulo.  
Our main tasks are: 
  • Identifying potential Tree Ring sites 
  • Overseeing the planting, establishment and after care of Tree Ring sites each planting season 
  • Developing strong links with community groups, schools, social contractors, councils and other delivery partners 
  • Fundraising for the Tree Ring 
  • Communicating the Tree Ring vision and its progress 

 

London Tree Ring Steering Group 

The Tree Ring project is overseen by a Steering Group comprising the Forestry Commission, Forestry England, Woodland Trust, The Conservation Volunteers, Trees for Cities, London Wildlife Trust, Common, The Greater London Authority (GLA), Greenspace Information for Greater London (GiGL), London National Park City and the Thames Chase Community Forest.

 

London Tree Ring Partner Organisations

To deliver the London Tree Ring we work alongside a growing number of partner organisations including The Harington Scheme, Let’s Go Outside and Learn, Monken Hadley Common Trust, Surrey Choices Growth Team, and Sutton Tree Wardens.
