AGM – 22 May 2025 – Discussing the threat to Green Belt

13th May 2025

CPRE London will be holding its AGM on 22nd May 2025 online 6pm to 7.30pm.

In the face of intensified pressure on London’s Green Belt we will be focusing on:

  • Green Belt and its continued relevance in 2025
  • Solutions to the housing crisis that don’t worsen the climate and nature crises
  • Growing further the environmental and social benefits of Green Belt

If you are interested to hear more about what we have been doing, and plan to do, in these areas over the coming year we do hope you will join us!

You are very welcome to ask questions. We are also keen to hear your thoughts and suggestions on the current need to respond to the Green Belt Review in a way that will help maintain its integrity and vital role in preventing carbon-hungry urban sprawl.

If you are a member entitled to vote at this meeting – the papers related to the relevant official business are below.  Both members and non members are welcome to attend.

Papers for members

The formal business of the meeting will, as usual, be kept as brief as possible but the related papers are below for members wishing to vote.  Non-members are very welcome to attend but are not entitled to vote.

  • AGM agenda, resolutions and nominations (click here)
  • Minutes of the last AGM (click here)
  • Proxy voting form (if you want someone to vote at the meeting on your behalf) (click here)
  • Nomination form for Trustee candidates (we currently have 10 candidates standing) (click here)
  • A copy of the draft annual report and accounts for the Charitable Incorporated Organisation, which includes details of our achievements in the year, can be accessed here. The draft for the CPRE London Unincorporated Charity can be accessed here.

Please note: we currently have a full set of Trustees for the Charitable Incorporate Organisation who will be standing – but if you would like to be considered for future vacancies please email hr@cprelondon.org.uk and you will be notified as these arise

It is possible to stand against the existing Trustees by completing the Trustee nomination for election form.  While in theory we have spaces on the Trustee board of our unincorporated charity, it is worth noting we are planning to close this imminently as part of transitioning from being an unincorporated to an incorporated charity.  Information about the Trustees standing for election at the AGM can be found here
